BIO:

Dorie Penny is a senior visual artist earning her BFA in Studio Art and minor in Art History at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. She is also an intern at the Miller Gallery in Kutztown, specializing in Art History. Her work ranges from oil paintings to drawings, and depicts members of the LGBTQIA+ community that she has grown up around, and the world that she lives in. These paintings serve as a way to celebrate culture, memory, and feeling through the use of thin layered color. Her most recent shows include selected works in the College Boulevard Gallery in Kutztown Pennsylvania.
